I tried looking through the comments to see whether anyone else had asked - do you paint before or after applying the kneading technique?

Wow! Talk about unlocking an OLD memory - we used to do this to notebook paper in class when I was in middle school in the 80s!! We just did it because we were bored - it wasn’t taught as a technique and we didn’t have a name for it.

I love this technique. I can't wait to use it for my artwork. ...And, of course, your clusters are so artistic. Thank you!

Cannot really see what you're doing. The camera is not close enough and it blurs due to movement of the camera.

I have done this with just brown paper bags.
